Performance
diagnostics for the identification of developmental
potential for performance
improvement

The examination of one's own motor skills is an important aspect with regard to training planning and the development of athletes, both in casual and competitive sport, but also in the context of rehabilitation. The identification of potential is a central part of every sport, whether team or individual sports. This is the only way to identify targeted development potential and provide specific indicators. Where exactly the focus should be placed in training in order to improve, but also to prevent injuries, is a matter that can be significantly illuminated by means of biomechanical performance diagnostics.

Modules of biomechanical
performance diagnostics

Analyses for maximum force, bounce, speed, manoeuvrability and coordination are the focus here. These tests also offer injured athletes an ideal opportunity to check and coordinate rehabilitation. With our biofeedback training tools, specific information can also be provided during therapeutic exercises, for example with regard to leg axis or pelvic stability.

Module strength diagnostics
Pfeil
info

An analysis of strength diagnostics provides information about the basic ability of the legs to generate strength in an isolated situation. Here, the maximum strength, the strength endurance and the strength ratio are closely examined. Particularly relevant is both the comparison of the right and left side and the comparison of the ratio of stretcher to flexor muscles. In sport, a symmetry of strength is important to prevent injuries. In rehabilitation, valuable information about the respective therapeutic success on the way back to getting active can also be gained.

Bounce Analysis Module
Pfeil
info

Bounce analysis provides information about the ability to use the necessary strength and coordination in a dynamic situation. Here, speed strength, maximum strength, stabilisation ability and leg symmetry are brought into the focus of the analysis.

In a test battery of different jump forms, we depict an overall picture here:

  • Counter-Movement-Jump (CMJ) two-legged
  • Counter-Movement-Jump (CMJ) one-legged
  • Drop-Jump (DJ) two-legged
  • Plyometric jumps
Systems:

Optional:

  • 3D strength plates
  • 2D video analysis
  • 3D joint angle determination (movement quality)
  • 3D joint load
  • Electromyography (for specific questions)
Prerequisite:

In people who are in the rehabilitation process, jumps must be approved by a doctor.

Module Agility Analysis
Pfeil
info

Agility and coordination skills are particularly important in sports such as football, handball, hockey or tennis. Being able to move quickly, efficiently and cleverly from A to B and at the same time also using various changes of direction, such as avoiding the opponent or deploying tricks, often determine success.

With our SpeedCourt and over 100 different protocols, we offer an optimal opportunity to carry out sport-specific tests or settings and to incorporate cognitive elements. Depending on the protocol, we can specify from side-to-side, forward-to-back, various directional changes or combinations of these movement tasks. Through strength plates and contact mats embedded in the ground, we can provide even more targeted information about the ability to change direction quickly and efficiently.

Optionally, further modules can be selected to clarify additional aspects, such as 2D video documentation or 3D joint angles for specific motion tasks (e.g. 90° change of direction).

Optional (not included in the price)

  • 2D video analysis
  • 3D joint angle determination (movement quality)
  • 3D joint load
  • Electromyography (for specific questions)
Prerequisite:

This involves running, jumping, quick changes of direction and quick stops. In the case of persons who are in the rehabilitation process, medical approval for jumps and rapid changes of direction is required.
